Sandie Robert MacDonald is a 28-year-old health centre receptionist who enjoys playing video games, going to the movies and charity work. He is kind and inspiring, but can also be very boring and a bit untrustworthy.

He is a French Sikh. He started studying medicine at college but never finished the course. He is allergic to hazelnuts. He is obsessed with Star Wars.

Physically, Sandie is not in great shape. He needs to lose quite a lot of weight. He is tall with pale skin, white hair and brown eyes. He has an x-wing on his upper back.

He grew up in a working class neighbourhood. His parents separated when he was small, but remained friends and provided a happy, stable home.

He is currently single. His most recent romance was with a lab assistant called Roxanne Hunter Glover, who was 9 years older than him. They broke up because Roxanne wanted a quieter life than Sandie could provide.

Sandie's best friend is a health centre receptionist called Amy Bentley. They are inseparable. He also hangs around with a health centre receptionist called Susie Brooks. They enjoy escapology together.
